JustSignal helps you connect content sources such as podcasts, YouTube subscriptions, and newsletters so you can manage, search, summarize, and generate signals from your own content library.

Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide when you sign in, connect sources, forward newsletters, import content, transcribe audio, search your library, or generate summaries and podcasts. This can include your email address, connected source metadata, subscription lists, imported content metadata, newsletter text, audio URLs, transcripts, generated summaries, generated scripts, and usage or cost events needed to operate the service.

Google and YouTube Data

If you connect YouTube, JustSignal requests read-only access to your YouTube subscriptions so we can show your subscribed channels and let you import selected channels into your JustSignal library. We do not request permission to upload, edit, delete, or manage your YouTube content.

JustSignal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Information

We use your information to authenticate you, connect and refresh your sources, import and index content, create transcripts, answer searches and questions, generate summaries or podcast scripts, provide support, monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and track operating costs.

AI Processing

We may send relevant excerpts, transcripts, metadata, and prompts to AI service providers when you ask JustSignal to transcribe, search, summarize, or generate content. We send only the content needed for the requested feature.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to run JustSignal, comply with law, protect the service, or complete an action you request.

Retention and Deletion

We retain connected source records, imported content, transcripts, generated artifacts, and operational logs while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can disconnect sources in the app. To request account or data deletion, contact us at support@justsignal.io.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted storage for OAuth credentials, to protect user data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy as JustSignal changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
